Gone out of business

Ok so I'm sure many people remember the drama that surrounded The Winchester and her many incarnations as the calender went from '07 to '08. If you weren't around then you may have heard stories. One thing is for sure, the Winchester closed in September of '08 leaving an empty space in many SLives. RIP Winnie

In August of 2007 I was asked by ssmariner Flossberg to build a bar. He sent me some photos and references to a british television show called "Minder". Along with my own recollections of my favorite club growing up I went to work on the then unnamed club. Flossy took a real chance asking me since I had made only furniture until then.



After completing the bar, ss invited me to join him as an owner. On September 9, we opened with an all day party with 2 hour blocks of back to back DJ's.

In April of 2007, I rented this store space on Lost Link Island. Soon, I opened a second store on Vancouver Island. It wasn't because I was selling like mad, it was because I was probably going mad. For the next couple of months Raymaker's stayed afloat with sales, sploders, and my weekly stipend.
